Zaffiro Necklace

Royal blue lapis lazuli beads, each 6 mm and hand-selected for intensity of colour, arranged into a single-stone necklace of striking depth. Lapis has been coveted for over six thousand years — carved into Egyptian scarabs, ground into the ultramarine pigment that illuminated Renaissance masterworks, and set into Tutankhamun's funeral mask. Its name marries the Latin lapis with the Arabic azula: blue stone. The natural gold pyrite flecks within each bead catch the light like scattered stardust. Presented in Aventari signature packaging.
