Lemon Baltic amber, each 6 mm bead preserving approximately 44 million years of ancient forest resin in warm, honey-gold tones. Strung on a resilient elastic band and finished by hand in our Lithuanian atelier. Baltic amber has been treasured since prehistory — traded along Europe's ancient Amber Road from the Baltic coast to the Mediterranean, and prized by Romans and Greeks who believed it captured the golden rays of the setting sun. Unlike most gemstones, amber is organic in origin, occasionally preserving perfectly intact plant matter from an epoch before humanity existed. Presented in Aventari signature packaging.
